This is the testimony of Tyrese Ethan Arcadius Jr. Phillip the youngest baby who was cared for by Cecilia Kim the Traditional Korean Acupuncturist at nine (9) months.
Cecilia Kim had treated my partner and I two (2) years ago in 2005 and jokingly told us that when she was done with us, we would have a healthy baby, when or if she gets back to St.Lucia. We laughed and just took it for a joke. A few year after it was not a joke but a reality. We did have a baby boy on the 15th October 2007. The day I got to know, that I was pregnant, Cecilia was the first person who popped up to mind. I took a sip of the holy water that she had given me and asked the Lord to protect and safe guide both of us.
I had already given natural birth my one and only daughter Sherrese who is now fourteen (14) years and always wanted a son. When I found out that it was a boy, I was very ecstatic and called up my partner who wasn’t on island at the time with the great news. He was very elated. Everything went on smooth except for the later stages in the pregnancy, where I found out at seven (7) months and three (3) weeks that I was in trouble. I thought it would have been an easy road but it wasn’t. After having done several ultrasounds, the last one stated that I had a Placenta Prevail and the baby and I would have been in great danger. My doctor advised me to go to the hospital immediately and to stay until I were to give birth. I had to be under close watch for any severe bleeding or interruptions. I was confined to a bed, and given directives that I had to have strict bed rest or else the baby and I would be in load of problem, even death. It was very rough, uncomfortable and frustrating but I kept the faith and tried to make myself happy for the baby. Finally the day came where I had to have a C Section (surgery) to remove the baby. I prayed extra hard that God will deliver me safe and that everything would turn out OK.
I asked God if anything were to happen, to deliver the baby safe and take me instead. I went into surgery with my mom as my angel guardian, God as my healer and good things in mind. It was indeed a very long procedure, finally he was out, while they continued with me.
The doctors said he was OK and two days after I was able to go and get him out of the nursery. After a few days in the hospital he was examined and we were both discharged to go home. Everything looked OK except for two day after, when we had to go back to the hospital to get his card and clinic date. I realized that his navel clip where his umbilical cord was detached, and just wasn’t looking right, it had this yellowish creamy stuff around it, along with a spot of blood. I showed it to the nurse. She asked the doctor to check it but he said it was OK and that she was to just clean it up with some spirit. While doing so, the navel clip dropped off and after cleaning it the nurse spread some white stuff onto it, which she said was a seal, to close the navel.
When the head nurse saw it, she told me that it was the result of the umbilical cord being cut badly, hence the reason why the navel was left with too much space. This all happen at surgery when the baby doctor clipped the umbilical cord and examined him after, and then give him the OK, but it turned out not being OK at all. I left upset and then the day after took the baby to a private pediatrician doctor. I told her what had transpired and what the nurse told me. When she examined him, she told me that he had a hernia in his tummy area and she was able to feel a tiny hole. She went on further to say that, we were not to let him cry too much because his navel would swell up allowing the intestines to pass through the tiny hole and stick in it. She warned us if that were to happen that we were to take him to the hospital right away. We were very careful not to allow him to cry too much because we were very worried as to what would happen.
After a month he started having lots of bowel discharges and discomfort, followed by bad nappy rashes where his skin would be so red it would sore and break up, sleepless nights and very bad eczema outbreaks. We went up and down to different doctors all giving him the same medications (nappy rash ointments, antibiotics, pain syrups) these would just work for a moment, then the problem would come back again. Then one day his father took him to this doctor, who advised him to have surgery, to remove the hernia when he became nine (9) months. He gave him the name and information about this doctor, who he said was a specialist in that field. When he came home he told me so I was very worried about having surgery on him at such a tender age. We were full of questions and no answers. We were both undecided, so we took it to the Lord instead.
Cecilia Kim was back and we both had started going to her, so one day we told her about our problem. {She said, bring him, I can fix him, I give him needles and the hernia along with everything else would all go away}. So when he became nine (9) months we brought him to her instead of having the surgery. Cecilia examined him and told us that he had terrible intestinal problem along with the hernia, which was the cause of all the stomach problems, bowel discharges, bad nappy rashes and eczema, he also had kidney problems from the constant bowel movement and that she was able to fix it all with needles. On that day she started working on him right away, he cried but calmed down after, he never took out the needles. Afterwards he became OK with the idea of having the needles, I guess he knew what they were doing for him. After a few session we were able to see good results. He started sleeping for long hours, then he drink full bottles of milk without throwing up, his skin cleared up and had this glowin look. His tummy became very soft because it was very hard at first, and the navel that was big went down. We could no longer feel the hole that was there. He received treatment at the hands of Cecilia only, until he became one (1) year and one (1) month and now he is fully healed by the hand of Cecilia through the intersection of Lord and saver.
His father decided to inform the doctor who had sent us to have the surgery, about Cecilia and how the acupuncture had cured the hernia. {he said that acupuncture can never cure hernia and that it was still there} but after we took the baby back to him, it was only then we notice he had a changed mind. He examined him he told us {that the hernia was totally gone and the hole was closed}.
Thank God for sending us Cecilia and allowing us to choose this direction, instead of the other. Cecilia indeed worked wonders on this special son of ours. God promised to take care of him and He did deliver. That is why our son Tyrese Ethan Arcadius Jr. will always be blessed and loved by us all. Now Tyrese has so much energy and we are trying to keep up with him. He also has became wiser and smarter than most babies his age.
A true joke to be shared:
It started at ten (10) months, when Tyrese saw Cecilia coming with the needles, just before she would sticks him, he would shout ouch, ouch and then watch her with a funny face. He hadn’t been stuck yet at all but he was just shouting and mocking. This is because he know what what was happening and what he was getting ready for.
He did the very same thing every day when she was ready. All the ladies laughed and started calling him the ouch baby or ouchie. From that day, that was his clinic name and everyone would look forward to seeing him take his needles for he always made them laugh.
Tyrese was indeed a Blessing, which God had given me from the start. His struglles were mine too and we both fought it together.

Lol. I know of Cecilia Kim and Ouchie very well. I have lots of experience with Cecilia. She is awesome. I love her and her mastery of acupuncture. I also love her family and the kindness they showed me in my time of urgent need. A time when a doctor told my mom I would die as my problems were side effects of my chronic “incurable” illness.
I met Cecilia for many problems I had; nobody could see the ills I was facing. Not even the doctors with all of their advanced equipment. Not even in USA but, Cecilia Kim could. I was deteriorating. I could barely stand. I could not walk. I couldn’t even see me in the mirror. I couldn’t urinate nor ease my bowels. There were so many more back then and there are more now. I know I need to see her.
I recall the amount of time she devoted to me. I recall the nourishing food I was encouraged to eat. I recall a lot of great lectures she gave. I have seen many predictions made come true. I try to practice what I was advised when possible. She says I need a lot more treatment and I agree. I trust this lady fully. If you knew me at my worst, you will not believe that I am the same person. I believe God took me to Cecilia Kim.
